The country boasts a wealth of unsullied beaches that stretch for miles, small lodgings that haven't attracted hordes of tourists, jungle rivers for rafting and kayaking, and spectacular cloud- and rainforests with ample opportunities for birdwatching and hiking. See San José, the capitol, with varied and active restaurant and nightlife scenes, several museums and galleries worth visiting. Visit Monteverde which translates as "green mountain," or Arenal Volcano one of the top ten most active volcanoes in the world and is the most active one in Costa Rica.     COSTA RICA - 5 days /4 nights

    Day One:
    Depart from local airport.
    Arrival at San Jose International Airport. Escort will meet the group .Upon arrival to Costa Rica you will
    be met by your English speaking guide and transferred to you Hotel. Dinner at local restaurant and
    overnight

    Day Two:
    Breakfast at the Hotel
    Depart for soccer game against a local team. Soccer is the most popular sport in Cost Rica. Experience
    the passions that Costa Ricans have for the sport first hand. There are over 350 youth level teams and
    over 50 professional teams. When matching your team to Costa Rican opposing teams, we take into
    consideration your team’s age, competitive level and other factors.
    Option: Be a part of the cheering fans at a professional soccer game, subject to schedule and at an
    additional cost.
    After the game we will head to Arenal area. Approx 3 ½ hrs. driving time. The fun tourist town is located
    in the shadow of the impressive Arenal Volcano. The resort has an unbelievable view of the volcano.
    See some of the most spectacular vistas in the country. Lunch on route on your own
    Check into the Arenal Springs Resort, subject to availability or equivalent. Enjoy the resort facilities to
    include 6 tennis courts, racquetball court, Jacuzzi, sauna, game room, gift shop, swimming pools, snack
    bar and open air restaurant. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight

    Day Three:
    Breakfast at the resort
    Depart to the rainforest to meet with a local, bilingual guide who will tell you about the plants and wildlife in the rainforest, while hiking to the top where you have a stunning view of the volcano. The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the world, famous for its breathtaking eruptions which spout fiery lava into the sky every 5 – 10 minutes.You will then go to visit the Baldi Hot Springs. Complete with over 30 hot and cold pools at different temperatures, the Baldi Hot Springs are the most expansive hot spring facility in the Arenal Volcano area. Complete with many different walking paths, gardens, large & small pools, cascading waterfalls and 2 waterslide, you are sure to enjoy as the thermal waters relax you.
    NOTE: It is not healthy to stay more than 20 minutes in the hot spring. Be sure to make use of the cool ponds as well during your visit so as not to raise your core body temperature. Hours: 10am – 10pm (no guide needed). Dinner at local restaurant and overnight

    Day Four:
    Breakfast at the Arenal Springs Resort.
    Spend the morning at your leisure Depart for an exciting Land-Boat-Land transportation to Monteverde across the Arenal Lake. Approx 3 hrs. total transportation time. Great photos! Once you arrive in Monteverde, you will be transported to the Hotel subject to availability. Depart for the Monteverde Cloud Forest featuring “rain clouds”, 400 species of birds, 2,000 species of plants and 100 different mammals.Get ready for the ride of your life! The canopy zip line allows you to observe the rainforest in a very different view. Zip through the rainforest on a journey you are not soon to forget! Featuring 16 zip lines, 1 rappel and a giant tarzan swing, this is Costa Rica’s most popular attraction. You will be instructed at the zip line.

    Day Five:
    After breakfast, depart for San Jose Airport.. Return journey home to the United States with many new memories, friends, and experiences.
