England and Beyond

Literary buffs do not miss the chance to see Stratford-upon-Avon a historic town on the river Avon. Best known as the home town of the great English playwright and poet, William Shakespeare. Today, it is a major theater-going destination and represents one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. Visit Bath a historical roman City. Stop along the way in Stonehenge with its immense stone monuments built by the Neolithic people about 4.5 thousand years ago.

DAY 1 Depart
Depart USA for your flight to London.
Day 2 Arrive London
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your representative and transferred to your hotel. Take a walking tour and visit the British Museum. This evening, a Welcome Dinner at the hotel or local pub or restaurant.

Day 3 London
Continental breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy a full day tour in London. See Westminster Abbey, visit f the Tower of London. See Buckingham Palace. Dinner at a local restaurant or pub. Option: Tickets to a West End Show
Day 4: Stratford
Transfer by train or motorcoach to Stratford-upon-Avon for a half day guided walking tour with a local guide and visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace which now has an adjoining museum. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Stratford- London
Breakfast. Continue to explore Stratford-upon-Avon visit the thatched cottage and its beautiful little garden that belonged to Anne Hathaway, Shakespeare’s wife. Visit Mary Arden’s Farm where you will discover the Elizabethan way of life and interact with the daily domestic routine of a working farm. This was the home of Shakespeare’s grandparents and childhood home of his mother, Mary Arden. Return to London in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Depart London
Breakfast Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
