Peru

    The most fascinating destination in South America.  Peru is an incredible mixture of archeology, historical monuments, nature and adventure.   Visit he Inca trail to Machu Picchu, or take a trip to Lake Titicaca in Puno, or navigate through the Amazon jungle to visit the Tambopata and Manu Natural Reserves.

    Day 1:
    Depart today for your trip to Peru! Dinner and a breakfast snack will be served on this overnight flight to Lima.

    Day 2:
    Early morning arrival, transfer to your hotel for. Early check-in guaranteed. This afternoon’s city tour of Lima will get you acquainted with Peru's Capital City, its 2000 years of history and Colonial heritage. Experience the artistic traditions and contemporary lives of its residents. Tour Lima’s Historical Center*. Visit Casa Luna (1), where the owners welcome you to their home and show you their unique collection of Nativity scenes. Proceed to the Huaca Pucllana archaeological centre, to learn about a culture that flourished between the 5th and the 8th centuries A.D. Dinner and Overnight in Lima.

    Day 3:
    Today visit to the Kantaya community. Dinner and Overnight in Lima.

    Day 4:
    Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco transfer to the Sacred Valley. Dinner and overnight in the Sacred Valley.

    Day 5:
    Visit to the Willoc Community. Dinner and overnight in the Sacred Valley.

    Day 6:
    Visit to the Willoc Community. Dinner and overnight in the Sacred Valley.

    Day 7:
    Breakfast at the hotel. We will transfer you to the rail station to board the train to Machu Picchu. When arriving at Aguas Calientes, you will take a 25-minute motorcoach ride to “The Lost City of the Incas", which was discovered by American explorer Hiram Bingham in 1911. Take a guided tour of the marvelous citadel, an awe-inspiring experience. Return to Cusco by train and Dinner and Overnight.

    Day 8:
    After breakfast, we take a tour of the city, starting out at the Santo Domingo convent monastery. This former Colonial monastery was previously the Koricancha temple, one of the most important temples devoted to worship of the sun. According to the chronicles, it was covered in gold Leaf and filled with golden representations of nature. Also included in the tour are stops at the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral. After touring the most interesting sites of the city, you will be driven to the countryside outside Cusco to visit some of the remarkable Inca ruins in the area. Included are the cult centre of Sacsayhuaman, the temple and amphitheatre of Kenko, and the Red Fortress of Puca Pucara. Dinner and Overnight in Cuzco.

    Day 9:
    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from hotel to the airport for your flight to Lima and connection to USA.
