Day 1:
Depart the USA for your flight to St. Petersburg.
Day 2
Arrival in St.Petersburg. Transfer to Hotel with English guide’s assistance . Balance at leisure.
Check in the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3
St. Petersburg City sightseeing tour
The city tour of St.Petersburg includes. The Vasilievsky Island with St. Peter& Paul's fortress founded by Peter the Great who also planned to transfer the country's capital from Moscow to Petersburg. It became the official necropolis of the reigning dynasty. Nearby there is the Winter Palace, the Emperor's official residence. The most prominent architectural monuments of the city include the Admiralty, Kazansky and St.Isaak's cathedrals. One of the most beautiful constructions is Smolny and more. Visit to Peter&Paul Fortress The city’s birthplace, Peter & Paul Fortress was founded by Peter the Great in 1703. Besides the mighty fortifications, on the grounds of the fortress you can visit the Baroque cathedral that contains the tombs of the city’s founder and the Romanov Royal family. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Excursion to Peterhoff . Peterhof is a jewel of the Russian art, a town of parks, palaces and fountains. Peterhof is located on the south shore of the Gulf of Finland. This imperial summer residence is a historical and architectural monument of the 18th and 19th centuries. Peterhof was a residence used for Gala Receptions only. It is known as the “Capital of Fountains”, the most splendid group of them being the Great Cascade
Next enjoy the Hermitage tour. This is one of the world's largest art museums. Housed primarily in the Imperial Winter Palace, the exposition fills more than 350 halls. You will see the rare works by Rembrandt, Rubens, Picasso, Matisse, and others. The museum also contains vast Egyptian, Prehistoric, Russian, and Oriental sections, as well ass contemporary-minded temporary exhibitions. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5
Excursion to Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo). Visit to Catherine’s Palace. During the excursion guests will see the world famous Amber Room The palace-and- park ensemble of Tzar’s Village – a former suburban residence of the Russian emperors – is a fascinating monument of the architecture and gardening arts of the 18th and 19th centuries. The compositional center is the Catherine’s Palace where superbly restored interiors house unique collections of furniture, porcelain and much, much more. Tzar’s Village is the most favorite residence of all Russian Tzars. They lived here, arranged receptions and splendid balls, gave birth to their children and died.
Transfer to Pavlovsk. Visit to Paul’s Palace and park Experience the spectacular scenery of the palace and park ensemble of the late 18th and early 19th centuries served as a residence for Tsar Paul I and his family. The surrounding grounds comprising one of the largest landscaped parks in the world enchant with their sloping hills, winding paths, and architectural surprises. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6
Check-out of the hotel and transfer to airport for your flight back to the USA.
